On A Note Of Triumph (1945)
Bernard Herrmann
The 78 RPM set of Norman Corwin's On A Note Of Triumph was released in 1945 in celebration of the allied victory of WW2. This is actually the 2nd broadcast of the radio drama produced especially for commercial sale after the huge success of the original broadcast. That first version (identical in content) was released in the late 1970's on 33rmp vinyl by Mark 56 records.
