KInda ho-hum stuff, by Alex (November 25, 2006)
The score worked very well for the film but on its own is a fairly tedious listen. Written for an orchestra (or so it sounds) but almost entirely synthesized, there are moments where composer Hoenig achieves a cool theme ala Carpenter ("The Standoff" being a favorite), but overall this reeks of 80's sampled synth stuff. Not a bad score really, but not worth the fifty plus dollars it goes for, and dated failry badly in spots (the synthesized percussion is a joke).
