Wicked Slice Of Tripped Out Horror Sounds A Joy To Behold!
by a soundtrack collector (April 6, 2006)

Morricone at his brutal best might descibe this wicked score created for the Dario Argento horror nightmare freakfest known in the USA as "Cat O' Nine Tails"!

Starring Karl Malden and Catherine Spaak the story involves murder most foul and offers a score by the composer that I personally consider one of his best works!

Something I consider most appealing in this score is the meeting of my two favorite musical genres... film music and avant garde.

Sounds not at all associated with the all common concensus of what music should be offered in fine fashion within this beautifully bizarre example of the absolute best by the absolute best!

An added treat for those who prefer the vinyl release from Dagored is the inclusion of a print from the original film poster suitable for framing and proud display! *****
