Reviews
Almost great
by a soundtrack collector (July 21, 2003)
Vic Mizzy's deliciously twisted score is brought to life in full stereo on this album. However, the album is weighed down by really annoying vocals. The majority of the tracks feature choruses of "la la la"'s in a female voice over the orchestration. What should have been a delightfully weird score is often reduced to being bad '60s elevator muzak. Particularly "The Anxiety Tango" and "Morticia's Theme," two personal favorites, are hampered by the annoying vocals. Great score but, b-a-d, BAD vocals.
