Taking a cue from the haunting Chevaliers de Sangreal track on The Da Vinci Code to build anticipation, Hans Zimmer has raised the game in action based soundtracks.
Not only do the heroic action themes (his forte) generate extra excitement but the sense of anticipation created throughout adds greatly to the visceral experience of watching the movie. Add to this Howards poignant themes and you have one of the most listenable and inspiring soundtracks ever.

Welcome addition to the collection of Batman soundtracks that have been produced over the years, this landmark score teaming two of the most talented film music composers, features some of the best work of recent film-making.
Little disappointed that they decided not to re-work the Batman theme from the first set of films but you get over that once to listen to the music. Excellant.
