A Little Gem
by a soundtrack collector (July 15, 2002)
Cliff Eidelman has created a beautiful score for the 3rd Free Willy film. Sure, it's short but every single track is good. I especially like how he samples the original Free Willy theme by Basil Poledouris towards the end, instead of using it throughout the cues. The original theme is good, but Eidelman takes it a step higher. Don't let the subject matter of the film fool you, this score is as haunting and beautiful as any from a serious dramatic film.
