Colosseum Varèse Club releases: do they exist?

I noticed that there are several Varèse Club releases in the site database on the Colosseum label with a label number.
Did Colosseum really release those titles?
Does that mean that there was in fact 12000 units of the Varèse Club release of Star Trek Into Darkness, 6000 by Varèse and 6000 by Colosseum?
I know for a fact that Colosseum sells imported Varèse Club CDs (I bought several of those) but they are Varèse Sarabande releases (not Colosseum). I never saw any Varèse Club release manufactured by Colosseum... Just curious.
