Hi Mrscor2 and hello soundtrack collectors, I also am a victim of this guy...

This guy will contact you saying he has the cds you want.

the paypal address I foolishly sent the money to is : auditt4real09@aol.com and the account is registered to Hayden Hartley, most probably another false name, he also signs Kevin and only God knows how many other names and otehr paypal accounts, and yes he wil ltell you "Hi, I have it available, My email is che77y49er@aol.com if your interested, I also accept PayPal so 100% safe." Paypal might be safe but not him

He will jsut ahve you wait the 20 days so yo ucannot open a Pypal dispute... and sicne the items in questio nwerent part of auctions it doesnt seem to have a solution.

Have this scam user thrown out of this database and dont EVER buy from him. He is a scam and he is scum.

Hi!

This "guy" (or whoever he his) stole GBP 83.00 from me!

I will do all what's possible to get my money back and he better be warned because I ain't letting him go that easily!

I hate these kind of people and much more hate the fact that he his stealing money from soundtrack lovers!
That's really a stupid lame attitude, but unfortunately there are still some lame-ass thieves everywhere!

Sick and sad :-(

beware people!

Thanks for informing me, mrscore2!!!

Philippe, can you pelase tell us a bit gow to ask for te money back to Paypal? I contacted them yesterday and so far I have heard nothing from them

baalgehenna, March 7, 2009; 1:20 PM

I just filed for complaint and wrote him that i demand my money back and that i read about him on soundtrackcollector in this thread. Just wrote them 30 minutes ago, i sure hope the Paypal team can help me.
In the PP help section it says that if he doesn't respond in 10 days you may win the conflict and that you can go to your bank and order the money back.

Hallo.
I was also tricked by this guy (who "sold" me two cd`s, after I ask for them here in the forum)and repoted it also now to paypal (after I read that he is a thief here in the forum).

He send me two paypal-invoices with two diffrent Paypal-adresses (one to Allan Smith and one to Daniel Robinson).

I truly hope, that paypal realise now ,that MANY people reported and complain about this guy yet, and that they react strictly against him!

Hope, we all get our money back!

Best whishes,

Jörn

Gee.

I almost sent him payment for LIONHEART the Japan release. But I asked him to send me some pictures of the cd before we set the deal. He sent me pictures of the Colosseum release of Lionheart instead (?)
People I have been trade or sold stuffs over here when we are dealing for the first time, they usually ask for some pictures of the item or even the EBAY feedback if they have one. If the guy I'm dealing with has no feedback, I ask him to send me some contact of some people he has trade/sell before. I'm sorry you guys have to face this on losing money with scamms. I hope this never happens again.

Good luck.
Luigi

Thanks for letting us know. That truly stinks! I hate when this happens and hear stories like this. Go after this seller. I purchased a few cd's from Tower Records back in October. I only received one cd. The other two cd's where not available and have gone out of print. After numerous emails and international phone calls, I still have not been refunded for the two cd soundtracks. It is not a lot of money but it is the principle of the matter and Tower out of all people for Pete's sake. I just want to go to their headqurters and kick their ass.

Anyway, I don't mean to sound negative but I think if the seller does not have money in their PayPal account, the buyer will not get any refund regardless. I don't think PayPal will refund money by paying the buyer from their own resources. On certain occassions when I had filed PayPal disputes with bogus eBay sellers in the past, even though I had won the case, I was not refunded the full amount. Let us know of the outcome. I'm curious.

I can tell you people that I've been ripped off twice on ebay but idiots who sold me bootlegs, while claiming that they were originals. Both times Paypal gave me a total refund. Fair enough I had to wait during the 30 day period but they were good enough to get the money back for me like they promised. I will always use paypal, it's too risky not too and I only have a debit card. Getting a refund is even harder in that situation.

Paypal wrote me they decided for me, but can't get the money back right now. They also wrote they'd do their best to get it back.
If not, i'll go to my bank and just transfer the money back (I heard it is possible).
