Recommendation for Fabio Frizzi Fans.

If you really like Fabio's music, then you need to check out "Assassinio al Cimitero Etrusco." It's one of his best in my opinion. Picture a romantic-inspired variation of his earlier score, "The Beyond."

In addition, most of these are new, unheard tracks since Sergio Martino borrowed cues from "The Gates of Hell" for a good portion of the film's soundtrack. What really stands out for me is the song "Living in the Past," which is repeated throughout the album.

Great stuff and keep soundtracking everybody.

Thanks Jeremy!

I ordered it some time ago from SAE and I hope will receive it this week. I find really enjoyable his stuff for horror movies, and I have to say that I've neither seen ASSASSINIO AL CIMITERO ETRUSCO, nor have listened to the soundtrack. So I'm looking forward to hearing it!

Hi Angel and Josh!

You guys are really going to be in for a treat! I got this CD this weekend, and I cannot stop listening to it! It's so different from his previous works. I mean, it's got that Frizzi sound we love, but, well, you're just going to have hear it. You won't be disappointed. It's definitely a gem.

It shocked me when I first heard it because it's so lush and romantic. From the cover alone you'd think it was another Fulci-like soundtrack, but it's not. But, like you said, Josh, "a Frizzi release is always a celebration." Speaking of which, I just ordered "La Preda." I really looking forward to that one too! Take care, and I hope you guys are pleasantly surprised when you have this score blasting through your speakers.
