Montage:Montage: Great Film Composers and the Piano - CD & Film

Hi everyone!

The Montage CD and film project originated with two piano suites written as gifts for the
Grammy-winning pianist Gloria Cheng from two legendary composers: BRUCE
BROUGHTON (Silverado, Young Sherlock Holmes) and JOHN WILLIAMS (Star Wars,
Schindler's List). With that auspicious start, Gloria then commissioned new solo piano
works by DON DAVIS (The Matrix), MICHAEL GIACCHINO (Up), and RANDY NEWMAN
(Toy Story). ALEXANDRE DESPLAT (Godzilla) contributed a recent piece composed for
pianist Lang Lang.

The CD will be released by Harmonia Mundi in February of 2015, and the documentary
will be made available on YouTube shortly prior to the CD release.
