22-May-2006 - Both Teichiku Records and Hotwax/Solid records have upcoming releases that highlight the prime years of the early Japanese film powerhouse Nikkatsu Studios. The Teichiku release called Nikkatsu Star Collection is a double disc and features many of their top stars in including a unreleased track by Meiko Kaji singing a song from the movie Kaidan Nobori Ryu (Blind Woman's Curse). Here is a link on the Amazon Japan website for this CD which is slated for release 5/24/06.
