New from La-La Land Records
3-Jan-2007 - La-La Land Records presents the premiere release of composer Harold Faltermeyer’s rollicking, full-throttle score to the late 80’s buddy-cop/action Warner Bros. hit Tango&Cash, starring Sylvester Stallone and Kurt Russell. Having defined movie action music throughout the 1980’s with his legendary scores to films like Beverly Hills Cop I&II, Fletch and Top Gun, composer Faltermeyer closed out the decade with Tango&Cash, one of his best scores -- full of infectious main themes and propulsive action cues. This is a limited edition of 3000 units.
Another surprise from La-La Land is the original soundtrack to this winter’s TNT Original Movie Event The Librarian: Return To King Solomon's Mines, starring Noah Wyle and Gabrielle Anwar. It’s the action-packed sequel to TNT’s hit film The Librarian: The Quest For The Spear. The robust orchestral scores from BOTH films are from Joseph Loduca and both scores are presented here in this 2-CD Limited (only 1500 units!) Edition set. Joseph Loduca’s sensational music captures all the action, wonder and suspense of both The Librarian films.
