The Librarian: Return To King Solomon's Mines
15-Jan-2007 -

New Continent, New Adventure, Still No Clue...

TNT and Electric Entertainment is heading back to the library for more rip-roaring, pulse-pounding adventure with the protector of humanity’s greatest secrets in this sequel to the enormously successful TNT Original movie The Librarian: Quest for the Spear. Noah Wyle (ER) returns as the nerdy hero in the highly anticipated sequel to the wildly popular original The Librarian: Return to King Solomon’s Mines, available from Warner Home Video. Available on DVD only two weeks after the original broadcast on TNT, The Librarian: Return to King Solomon’s Mines also stars Gabrielle Anwar (Scent of a Woman), and features Bob Newhart, Olympia Dukakis, and Jane Curtin reprising their roles from the original. The Librarian: Return to King Solomon’s Mines was directed by Jonathan Frakes (Star Trek: The Next Generation), with Dean Devlin (Independence Day, The Patriot) producing under his Electric Entertainment banner. The script, written by Marco Schnabel, is based on characters created by David Tilcher.

“We were very excited about the success of "Quest for the Spear" on DVD and anticipate the same reception for "Return to King Solomon's Mines." TNT has become as a terrific source of thought-provoking, entertaining dramatic telefilms” said Tehya Kopp, WHV Executive Director, Special Interest Marketing. “Noah Wyle, one of TV’s most popular and respected actors, brings the same great performance he gives on ER to this new release.”
