Ennio Morricone's Uccellacci E Uccellini/Cartoni Animati
24-Jan-2007 - GDM Music has released the score by Ennio Morricone for Pier Paolo Pasolini's Uccellacci E Uccellini, released in 1966 and starring Totò (in one of his latest roles) and Ninetto Davoli. This CD is possible thanks to the fact that an original album mock-up was found in the RCA Archives, that has never been commercially issued at that time in the promotional SP series. On the same CD the music voor Cartoni Animati (1997), starring Fiorello and realized by the brothers Franco and Sergio Citti. The score of Maestro Morricone is here in a constant equilibrium between extreme romanticism and popular atmospheres very close the circus world.
