Jérôme Baur's Les Petites Vacances
30-Jan-2007 - Peermusic France has released the score for Les Petites Vacances, the story of grandmother Danièle who, during each summer vacation, drives her grand-children over to stay with their father, Danièle's daughter's former husband. But this time the father's delay in returning from a business trip, allows her to extend her stay and enjoy the company of het grand-children for a longer time. It's then that Danièle finds out that her life is meaningless without her grand-children and the extended stay begins to look more and more like a kidnapping. The music is by new-comer Jérôme Baur who surprises us with a very nice and sometimes fascinating score.
