Two new releases from Milan
30-Sep-2001 - The Milan release of Joel Diamond's score for The Believer is an emotionally charged blend of traditional, industrial, and the avant-garde. Diamond conveys the main character's (Danny) inner conflict by employing vocal primal sounds and musical pastiche. As the film progresses, the score moves more towards a Jewish mood, symbolizing the resolution of Danny's conflict.
On October 9, Milan will release Mulholland Dr. The score was composed by David Lynch and his longtime musical collaborator, Angelo Badalamenti, and is best described as an ethereal, ominous, sensual, hypnotic, eerie and brooding score.
