John Barry's Eternal Echoes
24-Oct-2001 - Decca has released John Barry's long awaited Eternal Echoes. Drawing it's title and inspiration from the best-selling book by Irish poet and philosopher John O'Donahue, Eternal Echoes is an entirely original score, that according to John Barry, consists of "songs without words" that represent "dreams, memories and reflections" from moments throughout his life. This is the third time in John Barry's 40-year career that he has penned an entire album of original composition. The last, The Beyondness of Things was also released on Decca in 1998.
