New from Decca
12-Jan-2002 - Two new releases from Decca on January 14.
First Gosford Park, the latest dramatic film from acclaimed director Robert Altman. The soundtrack album features original music composed by Academy Award nominee Patrick Doyle (Sense and Sensibility, Great Expectations), plus new versions of vintage Ivor Novello songs performed on screen in the film by actor Jeremy Northam.
Black Hawk Down, directed by Ridley Scott, and with a score by Hans Zimmer, is the true story of the Battle of Mogadishu, the longest sustained ground battle involving American soldiers since the Vietnam War.
