New from Intrada Records
29-Jan-2002 - Christopher Young's score for Swordfish is like two scores in one. One is a straight, massive orchestral action score. The other features a slick, techno sound. The two scores complement each other perfectly, in one of Young's longest albums. Available: February 2002.
For Silver Streak, a new release in Intrada's Special Collection, Henry Mancini composed a score that perfectly combines his popular style with his dramatic style. It's available in its entirety for the first time.
In preparing the Special Collection release The Barbarian And The Geisha with music by Hugo Friedhofer, Intrada had access to all of the original elements from the recording sessions held in Munich. A mono release of highlights appeared in 1958 on the 20th Century-Fox record label. This album constitutes a world premiere of the complete score in stereo.
