and his history-making signing
with the Brooklyn Dodgers.
 
Award winning composer Mark Isham is set to score the upcoming Jackie Robinsonbiopic 42. Directed and written by Academy Award winner Brian Helgeland (A Knight's Tale), 42 stars Academy Award nominated actor Harrison Ford (Indiana Jones and Star Wars franchises) and Chadwick Boseman (The Kill Hole).
 
42 tells the iconic story of baseball legend Jackie Robinson (Boseman) and his history-making signing with the Brooklyn Dodgers under the guidance of team executive Branch Rickey (Ford).
 
The film will open April 12, 2013 three days before the 66th annual Jackie Robinson day, April 15— the day Robinson broke racial barriers and played his first game as a Brooklyn Dodger.
 
Mark Isham’s current projects include the second season of the number one new ABC drama Once Upon A Time. His accolades include a Grammy, an Emmy, and a Clio, in addition to multiple Grammy, Academy Award and Golden Globe nominations for his material both as a composer and a recording artist.
 
Recently, he was the Honorary President of the Cordoba International Film Music Festival in Spain. He was also the President of the scoring competition jury and musical Guest of Honor at the Transatlantyk Film and Music Festival in Poznan, Poland.
