Angelo Francesco Lavagnino's Saladino

19-Dec-2013 - Kronos Records has released the score for Saladino, the grand opener to The Gold Collection of Angelo Francesco Lavagnino, the Italian King of the Golden age! His music for Youssef Chahine's Saladino (Al Nasser Salah Ed Din) has long been the holy grail of unreleased scores for many collectors. Here is for the first time ever on CD the score to this grand epic score by Maestro Lavagnino. Tracks 1 thru 14 follow te same program of the original LP issued by CAM in 1963. Tracks 15 to 37 are all previously unreleased in any format. Carlo Savina conducts the Cairo Symphony Orchestra and Choir for the score of one of the most epic film scores ever made in the history of cinema!
