Alfred Newman's Wilson to be released
25-Apr-2002 - Alfred Newman's rousing patriotic score to Darryl F. Zanuck's Wilson will be released on CD this spring by Screen Archives Entertainment. The soundtrack is being produced by Ray Faiola of Chelsea Rialto Studios and Craig Spaulding of Screen Archives. Licensed from Fox Music, the score to WILSON survives in its entirety and the CD will be over 70 minutes of original thematic as well as evocative source material. Nearly four dozen songs from the Woodrow Wilson era are either performed or quoted and Alfred Newman's "Wilson" theme is a tribute to the Man and the times in which he lived.
