Edward Shearmur's Elvis & Nixon
25-Apr-2016 - Lakeshore Records has released the Elvis & Nixon – Original Motion Picture Soundtrack digitally on April 22nd and on CD shortly thereafter. The album features the film’s original score by Edward Shearmur, and classic tracks from artists including Blood, Sweat & Tears, Creedence Clearwater Revival, and Otis Redding. On a December morning in 1970, the King of Rock ’n Roll showed up on the lawn of the White House to request a meeting with the most powerful man in the world, President Nixon. "Elvis & Nixon" follows two men at the height of their powers, conscious they could not stay on top forever, both ripped with fear of the inevitable, sharing one famous private moment in the Oval office.
