Featuring Original Music By Timothy Williams

Lakeshore Records has released the I.T. - Original Motion Picture Soundtrack
digitally on September 23, 2016 and on Amazon Disc-on-Demand the same day.
The album was produced by Tyler Bates and features original music by Timothy Williams.

I.T. is not a film about technology. There’s little point in making a film about technology. “Technology is simply a multiplier of human intention, human emotion – like a painting, or a gun,” director John Moore stated. In creating the soundtrack for I.T., Tim Williams, with Tyler Bates as executive music producer, have cracked open the shiny shell of consumer technology and scooped-out the messy, foul gunk of humanity that the shell strains to contain.

“John Moore (the director) Tyler Bates (the executive music producer), and I discussed the tone for the film at length,” Williams stated. “It was very clear that, while the film involved technology, it was at its heart a struggle between two people who both believe they are right.” Moore put it best, “Williams’ music perfectly illuminates that tension. It contains the paradoxes and propagandas of contrarian views. It tosses and turns the listener, demanding a complexity of understanding rare amongst motion picture soundtracks, which are usually lazily happy to simply underscore a narrative.”

I.T. tells the story of Mike Regan. He is a self-made man who has it all: a gorgeous wife, a beautiful teenage daughter and a sleek, state-of-the-art smart home. His company is on the verge of changing the aircraft leasing business forever, when his relationship with Ed Porter, his I.T. consultant, goes bad. Mike soon finds himself in a deadly high-stakes game of cat-and-mouse when Ed starts stalking Mike's daughter and using technology to threaten his family, his business, ... and his life.
