This set documents the growth of film music at the dawn of the sound era by one of the industry's most progressive composers, Max Steiner. 11 Motion pictures scored by Steiner at RKO are represented on 3 CD's, and from the original studio recordings. The CD's are accompanied by a full-color 72-page book.
