New Varese releases
1-Oct-2002 - On October 15, Varese Sarabande will release Casino Royale, composed by Burt Bacharach. The classic and best-selling soundtrack is back to join the film’s DVD debut on October 15! Featuring the hit songs Casino Royale Theme played by Herb Alpert & The Tijuana Brass and The Look of Love sung by Dusty Springfield. Burt Bacharach and Henry Mancini were the parents of all the swinging lounge music that followed. This CD represents the birth of an era.
Guy Ritchie directs his wife Madonna in his version of the 1975 Lina Wertmüller film Swept Away. Madonna’s survivor-like adventure in the blue lagoon of a deserted island is beautifully scored by composer Michel Colombier and features a show stopping performance of Madonna lip-synching to Della Reese’s Come On A My House.
