New from Rhino Handmade
29-Nov-2002 - Rhino Handmade has released Max Steiner's The Treasure Of The Sierra Madre (1948). The score has never before been released. These recordings were produced from original music elements from the Max Steiner Papers, Film Music Archives at Brigham Young University. Most all of the cues survived, and included are three bonus cues.
Another Rhino Handmade release is Miklós Rózsa's Ivanhoe (1952). The original, complete soundtrack of the score, as conducted by Miklós Rózsa and performed by the MGM Studio Orchestra, has remained unreleased until now. The score has been assembled and remastered, providing all the cues as recorded for the film's original soundtrack. Both CD's are available as individually numbered limited editions of 2,500 copies each.
