FSM's December releases
2-Dec-2002 - A long-awaited collection of exciting original tracks from a '60s classic, The Man From U.N.C.L.E. (1964-1968). The best of all four seasons of U.N.C.L.E. music (over two and a half hours!) has been assembled into a 2CD set, and includes music by Jerry Goldsmith, Lalo Schifrin, Morton Stevens, Walter Scharf, Gerald Fried, Robert Drasnin and Richard Shores. The music is newly remastered from the original monaural session tapes, with fourth-season music remixed in stereo.
FSM's premiere CD of Miklós Rózsa's The Seventh Sin (1957) features the complete underscore followed by the film's source music: a 17:28 suite of Chinese-styled pieces and a waltz re-recorded from The Story of Three Loves (1953). The soundtrack is presented in the best-possible monaural sound, as it was originally recorded onto mono 17.5mm magnetic film.
