John Williams' Catch Me If You Can
10-Dec-2002 - Dreamworks has released Catch Me If You Can, directed by Steven Spielberg, and starring Tom Hanks and Leonardo DiCaprio. The score, composed by John Williams, goes back to the days of Cinderella Liberty but this time with a soulful saxophone instead of a harmonica and with lush violins backing in certain segments. It features jazzy music, with echoes of Leonard Bernstein and Henry Mancini, performed by a 100-piece orchestra. The CD also features 5 songs from the 60's by Frank Sinatra, Stan Getz, Nat King Cole, Judy Garland and Dusty Springfield.
