28-May-2003 - Rhino Handmade/Turner Classic Movies Music has released the entire score to Royal Wedding (1951),featuring music by Alan Jay Lerner and Burton Lane, along with choice underscoring cues. As bonus material, a 1950 promotional interview with Jane Powell and Fred Astaire. All recordings have been remastered from original sources. The second release represents the first-ever complete soundtrack album of Cole Porter's score for Born To Dance (1936). For optimal sound quality, the original 35mm optical prerecordings were used. Several of the tracks employed multiple microphones, thus enabling to present them in stereophonic sound.
