2 Max Steiner Classics from Marco Polo
26-Jul-2003 - Marco Polo Records has released two, previously unreleased, scores from the rich heritage of Max Steiner, the 1940 Bette Davis' classic All This, And Heaven Too, directed by Anatole Litvak and from 1946, also with Bette Davis, A Stolen Life, directed by Curtis Bernhardt. The music has been beautifully restored by John Morgan who has won acclaim for efforts to rescue, restore and re-record lost film scores from the past. William Stromberg conducted the Moscow Symphony Orchestra and Choir. Order from Intrada Records.
