British Film Classics from Chandos
13-Aug-2003 - Chandos Records has released British Film Classics, an attractive-priced 2-CD compilation set. Many of the tracks on this CD have been taken from Chandos’ flagship Film Music series. The series has included first time recordings of significant works such as Walton’s music for Henry V, Bliss’s Concert Music from the film Things to Come and the complete version of the greatest and most ambitious of Vaughan Williams’s film scores, Scott of the Antarctic.
